Every tradesman or woman is only as good as his or her tools no matter the industry that his trade happens to reside in. However, it is more important
For God so loved the world that he gave his one
and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal live. John 3:16 (NIV) |
Catering equipment is not only used by individual caterers that travel to provide food for conferences, weddings, funerals and other similar events but is also widely used in the food industry from the top to the bottom. Supermarkets that provide fresh food will need catering equipment, as will retailers than specialize in a certain type of food, such as bakers and confectioners. Restaurants also use it, as do coffee shops and sandwich shops. In fact, anywhere that serves fresh food of some sort will need various pieces of catering equipment to stay in business and/or provide for those needing food at various times of the day (schools, hospitals and so on).
Catering equipment enable those preparing food to do their jobs but also ensures that all possible health and safety standards are met because it prevents cross contamination. There is a huge range of items that could be used for this purpose, from chopping boards to knives to bowls to serving trays. All of these are commonly used every day in catering establishments, but there are also items that are specific to certain areas of the industry as well. For example, you would be unlikely to find a wok in a bakers but would find it in a fast food restaurant. You would also be unlikely to find an icing bag in a bakery but may find one in a cake shop. The catering equipment that is needed therefore varies from outlet to outlet. As such, it is essential to find a good supplier!
